Holy Flashback!

It is weird as hell to talk to Donnie on Yahoo Messenger. With a few exception for business trips and such, Donnie has always been a room away (or at least within shouting distance) since we met and rode off into the sunset together.

His flight was good and our 5 hour round trip drive to and from the airport, uneventful. Quinlon is constantly surprising me with how well he handles situations that I assumed would be a struggle. Just another sign he is growing up. Le sigh.

We did bananas the other day. Quinlon had a blast. Here's the video, but it's something like 8 minutes long, so I don't blame you if you skip it. Although, there are some golden snippets in there like "Put it on the table... no, not him, the bananas." LOL

And don't mind the shirtless Donnie. The running joke is that he doesn't own any shirts since more often than not, he is shirtless in all pics/video.

He's such a doll! I love watching videos of lil ones eating table foods, always makes me laugh.

Ah so cute! He looks like a natural. At first its just about exploration and he looks like he is doing a great job of that, Gwendolyn has been on solids for one month and is already chewing, feeding herself with a spoon, pulling apart food and eating things as small as peas, they learn so fast! I recomend pears, peaches, plums, red/green/yellow/orange peppers, roasted/baked sweet potatoes, broccoli (steamed), carrotts (steamed), cucumber (my LO just has it cut up in spears and not cooked) and my list could go on, but we have alot of success with all of those. Good luck and I look forward to seeing more of the fun!

Aww, super cute! I can't believe that Lawson is just one month away from that!
After seeing him push them around I can see why it's important to have a highchair with a really good tray haha!

Yeah, we are working on the high chair situation... LOL We're going to try sweet potatoes and red bell peppers this week too. They should be easier to grab so we might have more success, although, today he did manage to take actual bites!!!!
